My cart batteries were dead. After much thought & research I chose Lithium Rhino. I’m glad that I did. I talked to Frank & about a week later I called Frank back & got the 48v 105AH kit ordered. It arrived in only a few days just like Frank said that it would. I opened the box & got the manuals out & studied them & watched the installation videos on the website that night. The next day I started the conversion. The first thing I did was take pictures of the old batteries in the cart before I started anything else ( very important is many others have stated. ). I removed the old batteries & accessories & installed the new. When I was finished, I turned on the lights & turn signals, they both worked perfectly. I was very anxious to jump on the cart & feel the difference. I pushed the pedal & nothing, dead in the water. I called tech support hoping they could help me. I left a message with Trent & he texted me back in only a few minutes. He asked if I had taken pictures before I started & if so could I send them to him. I did that ( the pictures were not good but none the less it’s what I had taken so I sent them). He texted back in just a few more minutes with one small thing that I needed to do that I would’ve probably never figured out. I took a couple minutes & did what Trent had advised me to do. I then jumped on the cart & it worked great. It’s only been a couple of days but at this time I’m completely satisfied with the whole experience. I fully expect that my cart will be Charging Like A Rhino for years to come.
Rhino Lithium’s customer service is outstanding. Their team responds quickly, communicates clearly, and goes out of their way to help with any questions or issues. Every interaction feels personal.
First off..I waffled on rating this speaker a 3 or 4…it’s a 3.5 for me unfortunately that rating wasn’t available.
The good: I received my 700 series speaker on a Saturday, and immediately noticed it was missing the T installation bracket. Sent an email to the company Saturday night, had an email from customer service on Monday morning and had my T bracket right afterwards. Great customer service.
Build quality is fantastic…heavy, well built. Everything seems to be well thought out. Seems to have good power and very good volume. Installation on my golf cart was EZ Peazy….literally took me 45 minutes to get up and running.
The bad: EQ choices suck…I was able to get the speaker to sound decent by combining the speaker equipped EQ settings, and fiddling with the EQ setting on Apple Music. Android may be better, I’m not sure.
Unfortunately there’s not a ton of high end or treble out of the speaker. Bass is decent…I’d rate it a 6.5/10 as far as overall sound quality.
LED lights around the forward and back facing speakers are inconsistent…a couple of the speakers are slightly dimmer than the adjacent speakers. Most people probably won’t see it nor will they care. I’m not one of those people.
Are any of the negatives a deal breaker? No of course not. But it’s my honest review of the product I received.
I got my battery kit quick. Packaging was amazing, I'm keeping the box. Installation was a breeze especially with the videos they had on their website. Quick and easy. Smooth the silk baby. Now my cart goes about 5 mph and twice as far per charge. No complaints here 100% satisfied customer
