WIRING THE 12V REDUCER

  • The “load” output can be connected to a fuse block to connect multiple 12v accessories.
  • The blue (ACC) trigger wire needs a positive 48V for the reducer to work. This is designed to connect to the key ignition switch so when the key is turned ON, there is voltage to the terminal the ACC is connected to allowing your accessories to work. (Connect the ACC to the key ignition terminal that has voltage when the key is in the ON position.)
  • To bypass this step, and allow your accessories to work if the key is ON or OFF, simply route the ACC wire to the main positive of your battery. However if accessories are left ON when cart is turned OFF, it will still drain your battery.
  • For EZGO RXV the trigger wire is connected to the smaller positive terminal of the solenoid, opposite the main positive terminal on solenoid.
