8-Year Full Protection Limited Warranty
Lithium Revolution, LLC (DBA Lithium Rhino)
Lithium Revolution, LLC, a Florida limited liability company doing business as Lithium Rhino (“Lithium Rhino,” “Manufacturer,” or “Company”), warrants each Lithium Rhino branded Lithium Iron Phosphate (LiFePO4) battery (the “Battery”) sold by Lithium Rhino or its authorized distributors or dealers to be free from defects in materials and workmanship under Normal Use for eight (8) years from the original retail purchase date (the “Warranty Period”), as evidenced by valid proof of purchase.
1. DEFINITION OF NORMAL USE
“Normal Use” means use consistent with:
- Owner’s Manual instructions
- Published specifications
- Approved installation and wiring procedures
- Lithium Rhino-approved charging parameters
- Intended recreational vehicle applications
Gradual capacity reduction due to age, cycling, or environmental conditions is normal and not a defect.
2. REGISTRATION REQUIREMENT
Battery must be registered within 120 days at:
www.lithiumrhino.com/pages/register
Failure to register limits coverage to one (1) year.
3. COMMERCIAL VS. RECREATIONAL USE
Commercial use (fleet, rental, daily business operation, or repeated >80% depth-of-discharge cycles) requires written commercial approval.
Without approval, coverage is limited to three (3) years.
4. WHAT IS COVERED (BATTERY)
During the first 72 months Lithium Rhino may:
- Repair
- Replace
- Issue credit
Replacement batteries may be new, reconditioned, or refurbished.
5. NO WARRANTY RESET
Replacement or repaired batteries do not restart the warranty clock.
Coverage continues from the original purchase date only.
6. PRORATED COVERAGE (MONTHS 73–96)
Customer replacement responsibility: $500 fixed amount
- Not based on MSRP
- Standard ground freight included (continental U.S.)
Customer may apply the $500 as credit toward a newer model during final 24 months.
7. APPROVED CHARGER REQUIREMENT
Battery must be charged using Lithium Rhino-approved chargers or chargers meeting published specifications. Non-compliant charging voids coverage.
8. WARRANTY EXCLUSIONS (BATTERY)
Warranty void if damage results from:
- Improper installation or wiring
- Reverse polarity
- More than three batteries in parallel
- Unauthorized series connection
- Opening the top lid or casing
- Water intrusion or pressure washing
- Leaving battery ON for extended periods without charging
- Fully discharged storage
- Failure to charge for 12 months
- Impact, drop, or collision
- Fire, flood, or extreme temperature exposure
- Tampering or serial number removal
- Excessive discharge beyond rating
- Unauthorized sellers
- Use outside United States
Lithium Rhino may deny claims inconsistent with Normal Use.
9. FRAUD PREVENTION
Lithium Rhino may require:
- Proof of purchase
- BMS diagnostic data
- Charger verification
- Product inspection
False claims void warranty.
10. INSPECTION & DESTRUCTIVE TESTING
Returned batteries may be disassembled and will not be returned if opened during evaluation.
11. RETURN SHIPPING & RMA
RMA required before return.
Denied claims require customer to pay shipping and inspection costs.
12. KIT COMPONENT WARRANTY (ACCESSORIES)
The following Lithium Rhino battery kit components (“Components”) are covered under a separate manufacturer warranty:
Examples include but are not limited to:
- Chargers
- Voltage reducers
- LCD screens
- Gauges
- Wiring harnesses
- Switches
- Communication modules
- Mounting electronics or control accessories included in kits
12.1 Two-Year Full Replacement Coverage
For two (2) years from purchase date, defective Components will be replaced at no cost to the customer, including:
- Replacement part
- Shipping to customer
- Return shipping to Lithium Rhino
Lithium Rhino may provide new or refurbished replacement components.
12.2 Lifetime Prorated Replacement
After two (2) years, Components are eligible for replacement at 50% of current MSRP for the lifetime of the product model.
Customer pays shipping after the initial 2-year period.
This lifetime prorated replacement applies only to functional failure — not cosmetic wear or damage.
12.3 Component Exclusions
Component warranty does not cover:
- Physical damage
- Water intrusion
- Cut wires or connectors
- Improper installation
- Over-voltage or incorrect wiring
- Modified electronics
- Third-party accessories
- Abuse, impact, or corrosion
13. LIMITATION OF LIABILITY
Lithium Rhino liability shall not exceed original purchase price.
Not liable for:
- Towing
- Loss of time
- Lost profits
- Downtime
- Consequential damages
14. DISCLAIMER OF IMPLIED WARRANTIES
No warranties beyond those stated.
Implied warranties limited to warranty duration where permitted.
15. STATE LAW SAVINGS CLAUSE
Some states do not allow limitations on implied warranties or incidental damages. These limitations may not apply to you.
16. FORCE MAJEURE
Lithium Rhino not liable for delays due to disasters, supply disruptions, or events beyond control.
17. ARBITRATION & CLASS ACTION WAIVER
Disputes resolved by binding arbitration in Florida.
No jury trial or class actions permitted.
18. GOVERNING LAW
Florida law governs this warranty.
