Awesome product and very easy to install. I am very happy with the product so far.
I've installed multiple Lithium Rhino batteries for friends and neighbors. I can't say enough good things about the product and company. The batteries are very high-quality. Lithium Rhino provides US based, personal customer service with quick and helpful responses to any questions. Prices are highly competitive and mile for mile less expensive than replacing with lead acids (not to mention all the other benefits). shipping is fast and reliable. The kits even include gloves, safety glasses, new upgraded main cables, and a lead acid battery removal strap. The LCD meter display is large and better suited for mounting in the battery compartment, which is OK because the phone app works great. My suggestions for making your installation smooth include the following: Have an assortment of stainless self tapping screws, which I prefer to the included hardware, especially for the 50 ah kit. For a Club Car, know how to remove both of the charge port and the kickplate it goes through, because installing the new charge port into the kickplate on your workbench is far easier than doing it with the kickplate on the cart. If converting to a 50 ah, a multitool allows you to cut at least one slit in the bottom of the battery tray so that you can crisscross both included straps (I've usually found that for two straps crisscrossed, three good holes can be found but I had to cut a slit for the fourth - and this suggestion does not apply to larger batteries, because their steel cases have mounting brackets, not straps). The 50 ah has battery posts are on opposite corners, making the reach with the existing main positive and negative cables a little tight. Fortunately, the battery slides to a good spot on the passenger side toward the middle and the stock cables do reach. Alternatively, the stock cables are not hard to replace with the very nice larger caliber cables included in the kit-you just have to take off the metal panel that separates the controller/solenoid from the battery compartment. I've had great experiences with these Lthium Rrhinos and I will definitely be an ongoing customer.
Exceptional help to ensure I purchased the correct battery for my custom cart. Once I received the battery, their technician was super helpful during the installation process. The product is fantastic and the customer support is even better! Thanks.
I have only have mine installed for one week but really impressed. I have an Icon i60l and at 4 years the lead acid batteries were failing/leaking. After lots of research I decided to take the plunge with Lithium Rhino and have no regrets. The packaging was excellent. The hardest part was getting out the old batteries and tray, then disconnecting old charger, etc.. After that I played with layout a little. Drilled 8 holes connected 4 wires and done. Note to other Icon owners. I mounted the battery basically in the middle and this allowed me to not have to replace the main power cables. If you do it far left or right you will have to replace a cable. Also I ended up leaving the original 12V converter for the accessories as it just simplified the wiring. I picked up 3-5 MPH on the top end and the acceleration is fantastic. I had also read that the front display on the Icon might not work. Mine works fine. It always shows 100% for the battery now but speedometer, etc all work fine. One other suggestion. Get yourself a 10AWG extension cord for power. It pulls almost 20A when charging a "normal" 16 or 18 AWG cord it will get very warm.
This battery is the best. Easy installation and performance is a advertised. No more dealing with leaking wet cells and constantly checking water levels.
The lighter weight battery added 5 mph to my cart. Another satisfied customer.
